The machine, process or problem you describe and the page or enquiry context that brought you to the form.

A short-lived session identifier and limited abuse-prevention data used to protect the enquiry form.
Technical request data
Connection information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request time and basic browser data.
Please do not submit special category data, criminal offence data or confidential information that NWATT has not asked you to provide.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives page visits, successful-enquiry events, browser and device information, referral information and a pseudonymous cookie identifier. Google processes connection information to provide the service and derive approximate location. We do not send enquiry text, names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Analytics, and our page events omit URL query strings and fragments. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled.
Why we use it and the lawful bases
Optional website analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website and how often enquiries are completed. Analytics stays off until you allow it. You can reject it or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings at any time, without affecting the contact form.
Responding and taking requested steps
We use enquiry information to respond, assess an application, discuss a discovery call or pilot and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract where this applies.
Business enquiries and administration
For business contacts, we may rely on legitimate interests in handling relevant enquiries, keeping an appropriate business record and operating NWATT efficiently, balanced against your rights and expectations.
Security and legal duties
We may process limited technical data to protect the website and investigate misuse under legitimate interests, and retain or disclose information where a legal obligation requires it.
The privacy acknowledgement on the enquiry form confirms that you have seen this notice. It is not consent to unrelated marketing. NWATT does not use enquiry details for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Delivery recovery records
The public enquiry form does not accept file uploads. If a document or photograph is needed, NWATT will arrange an appropriate exchange after initial contact.
If the local mail service does not accept an enquiry, the application keeps a text-only recovery record in protected storage outside the public website. No recovery record is kept after the mail service accepts the message.
Hosting and international transfers
This website is hosted by Hostinger, enquiry email is received through Google Workspace, and optional usage measurement is provided by Google Analytics. These providers may process data in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States and other countries in which they or their subprocessors operate. Where a transfer requires safeguards under UK data protection law, NWATT relies on the applicable provider terms and approved contractual safeguards. Further information is available on request.
How long information is kept
General enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If an enquiry leads to a proposal, pilot, contract or customer relationship, relevant business records may be kept for up to six years after that relationship ends where needed for accounting, legal claims or regulatory obligations.
Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. A necessary business record of an enquiry may remain in the receiving mailbox or NWATT's authorised business systems for the periods described above.
Failed-delivery recovery records are deleted after no more than 30 days by a scheduled cleanup. Form security tokens, session-based rate limits and one-way hashed connection rate-limit timestamps are used for short periods to prevent abuse. Hostinger may retain standard security and access logs under its own service settings.
Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, without resetting the user retention period on new activity. This setting does not apply to most aggregated reports. Your consent preference lasts up to 180 days, and Analytics cookies are configured for 90 days.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, UK data protection law can give you rights to be informed, access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to processing and receive portable data. You also have rights relating to solely automated decisions.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. NWATT will consider the reasons connected with your situation and stop unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or the processing is needed for legal claims.
To make a request, email info@nwatt.uk. NWATT may need to confirm your identity before acting. There is normally no fee, although the law permits one in limited circumstances.
Security and cookies
NWATT uses proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect website enquiries. The form uses server-side validation, abuse controls and one short-lived, strictly necessary PHP session cookie named NWATTSESSID to support cross-site request forgery protection. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after you allow analytics. Your analytics preference is stored locally for up to 180 days; Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days without renewal on each visit.
Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure. If your information is especially sensitive, contact NWATT before sending it through the form.
