NWATT / Sensing and intelligence for industry

Turn hidden signals into useful insight.

NWATT develops products that help industry understand more. Mesher connects machines to useful information. MicroDetect is developing earlier microbial insight for difficult liquids.

Two NWATT products. Two different questions.

Our products

Mesher and MicroDetect. Both by NWATT.

One connects you to your equipment. The other is being developed to reveal what is happening in your liquid samples. Each has its own purpose, built around the information your team needs.

Concept Mesher gateway with configurable sensors and camera hardware

Connected machine intelligence

Mesher

Give your machines a voice.

Connect existing equipment to clear alerts, reports and practical insight. Understand condition, runtime, energy and visual activity with the right combination of sensing and on-site processing.

Concept MicroDetect reader and sample cartridge

Microbial intelligence · In development

MicroDetect

A clearer picture of contamination. Earlier.

Developing microbial screening for difficult industrial liquids, starting with paints and coatings. The aim is earlier evidence for quality decisions, with performance validated for each sample type.

nW

nano + watt

Small signals. Clear decisions.

A nanowatt is one billionth of a watt. Our name reflects the meaning that small signals can hold, and the engineering that makes them useful.

What do you need to know?

Start with the question your team cannot answer today. The right approach depends on what you need to understand.

Find the relevant product
  1. Mesher / Machine monitoring

    Why did this machine stop?

Track runtime, faults and condition signals to build a clearer picture of machine behaviour.

  2. Mesher / Energy insight

    Where is the energy going?

Measure consumption by asset to reveal idle running, inefficient cycles and unusual patterns.

  3. MicroDetect / Sample-specific development

Why is this liquid difficult to test?

MicroDetect's development starts with complex samples, including the pigments, polymers and preservatives in paints and coatings.

  4. MicroDetect / Quality-control insight

Could earlier screening help us decide?

Explore the aim of earlier microbial evidence for quality decisions, with the preparation method and performance validated for your sample.

Start small. Learn what matters.

Begin with a clear question and an agreed way to assess the evidence before making a wider commitment.

  1. Describe the problem

Tell us about the equipment, liquid sample or decision you need to understand.

  2. Define the right assessment

For Mesher, we scope suitable monitoring. For MicroDetect, we discuss sample constraints and the evidence a development evaluation needs.

  3. Review the evidence

Judge the result against the agreed objective before deciding whether to expand.

A machine-monitoring pilot and a liquid-sample evaluation need different methods. We scope the work around the application.

Practical questions

A few starting points for teams exploring NWATT, Mesher or MicroDetect.

How are NWATT, Mesher and MicroDetect related?

NWATT is the company behind both products. Mesher is its connected machine intelligence product family, including Sense, Live and Gateway. MicroDetect is a separate NWATT product being developed for microbial screening of difficult industrial liquids.

Which product is relevant to our application?

Mesher is relevant when you need to understand equipment condition, energy, runtime or visual activity. MicroDetect is a development programme for liquid-sample screening, starting with paints and coatings. Describe your question to NWATT and we can discuss the appropriate next step.

Can Mesher work with existing equipment?

Yes. Mesher is intended for new and existing assets. NWATT reviews the available signals, interfaces and installation constraints before proposing a configuration. Existing machine controls and safety systems remain authoritative.

Is MicroDetect a validated product?

MicroDetect is under development. The aim is earlier microbial screening information, but test time, sensitivity and classification performance require validation for each sample type. It is not presented as a validated replacement for culture testing.

Do Mesher and MicroDetect work together?

They are separate products with different purposes. A shared reporting or system connection would need its own assessment; a ready-made integration is not currently claimed.

Do we need a finished specification before contacting NWATT?

No. Start with the equipment or sample, what is difficult to understand and the decision you need to make. We can work through the technical details with you.

What would you like to understand?

Tell us about your equipment, liquid sample or the question you need to answer. We can work through the technical details with you.
