About NWATT

Small signals. Clear decisions.

Our name brings together nano and watt. Our purpose is to turn signals that are easy to overlook into information people can use.

The NWATT Nano Point mark and the words Small signals. Clear decisions.

The Nano Point: a small signal, brought into focus.

Meaning in the smallest signals.

A nanowatt is one billionth of a watt: a very small amount of power. The name NWATT expresses a simple belief: small signals can carry important meaning.

A change in the way a machine runs. A shift in energy use. A biological event hidden within a difficult liquid sample. The physical world holds information that can help people make better decisions, if it can be measured and understood in the right context.

NWATT exists to make that information useful. We bring together sensing, electronics, embedded intelligence and software, starting with a practical question: what does your team need to understand, and what evidence would help?

Mesher connects existing equipment to useful insight about condition, runtime, energy and visual activity. MicroDetect is being developed to bring earlier microbial screening information to difficult industrial liquids, beginning with paints and coatings. Its performance and suitability must be validated for each sample type.

Mesher and MicroDetect are separate NWATT products. They share an approach: start with the physical world, make the measurement meaningful, and keep the evidence connected to the decision.

We believe the value of technology is found in the understanding it creates. That is the idea behind our name, our engineering and our ambition.

Disciplines that meet at the application.

NWATT’s advantage is the ability to deliver the connected hardware and software as one coordinated system.
